I know I'm going to be wearing a sun dress of some sort but I don't know if I am going to wear one I have or buy one for it? hmm.... decision decisions!! on  a side not my boyfriend can not attend with me due to him working ...BUMMER!!!! So I will have to post pictures of what I decided to wear! I be updating soon!!

new blog !

hi all,
I recently made a new blog after my last post where I'll be talking about my college experience and how I keep my faith , what I struggle with and what I don't! I'm stilll new to the whole blog thing but I'm working on it ! my goal on this new page is for it to be a place where people know they are not alone ! maybe it's also to know that i'm not alone ! I think everyone needs that support group to help push through the struggles! Anyway this is my new blog! http://collegechristaingirl.blogspot.com/ I'll still be getting on here and posting as much as I can but alot will be more focused on the new one!

christian college girls

One thing I have been looking for lately is a christian college girls blog or website. Why? because I want to read how they stay close to god and still enjoy all the college things. For example how do they handle peer pressure and stress. How do the keep from drifting away because I have been struggling with that lately. I just found it shocking out of all the blogs out there I could not find one! If anyone knows of one please comment below!

Thanks

Meg

                 BUFFALO CHICKEN BITES!
I'm actually making these right now as I type just waiting for the dough to rise. So I figured I would make a post about these magnificent little things! If you don't like to wait for things I don't suggest you make these because it takes two hours for the dough to rise but if you like to cook and enjoy it I would say def try these ! I will post my results after they are all done and what the taste result is like! but here is the recipe if you want to try to make them also!
 Buffalo Chicken Bites
recipe adapted from Gourmet

1 cup finely diced cooked chicken breast
1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese
2 tablespoons shredded cheddar cheese
1/4 cup hot sauce (Frank's brand is what I used)
4 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted and cooled
2 1/4 teaspoons rapid rise dry yeast
2 tablespoons brown sugar
1 cup warm milk ( I used 2%)
2 1/2 cups of flour

To make the buffalo chicken mixture, in a small bowl, combine the chicken, blue cheese, cheddar cheese, melted butter and hot sauce; set aside.

In a 1 cup measuring cup, heat the milk and then add the 2 tablespoons brown sugar; stir into warm milk until dissolved; place in the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with the dough hook.

Add 2 1/2 cups flour and yeast to the stand mixer and mix on low speed until a soft dough forms, adding up to 1/2 cup additional flour, a little at a time, if necessary. Allow the dough to knead in the stand mixer for 5-7 minutes. Turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface and gently knead a few times to form a smooth ball. Place dough into a clean bowl that's been lightly oiled. Cover with plastic wrap and let rise in a draft-free place at warm room temperature until doubled and bubbles appear on surface, about 2 hours.

Preheat oven to 400°F with rack in the middle of the oven. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper; set aside.

Turn out dough onto a lightly floured surface and cut into 4 equal pieces. Lightly dust your hands with flour, then gently roll and stretch 1 piece of dough to form a 12-inch-long rope. Flatten dough and arrange so a long side is nearest you, then roll out to a roughly 12- by 4-inch rectangle with a lightly floured rolling pin. Gently press one fourth of buffalo chicken mixture into lower third of rectangle, leaving a 1/2-inch border along bottom edge. Stretch bottom edge of dough up over filling and press tightly to seal, then roll up as tightly as possible to form a rope. Cut rope into 12 pieces and transfer to a sheet pan. Make 3 more ropes with remaining dough, filling and cut into pieces, transferring to sheet pans. Let rest at room temperature, uncovered, 30 minutes (dough will rise slightly).

Bake buffalo chicken bites in the preheated oven for 5-7 minutes or until the tops are lightly browned. Remove from oven (some cheese may have melted out.) and brush tops with melted butter before serving (optional).

MATTE NAIL POLISH SAY WHAT!!!!!

I am in absolute love with the new matte nail polish !!!
Love the nude look this happens to be my fav look right now I love nude everything !!

pretty pastel
Just peachy :P
You can get  matte nail polish from Walmart ,CVS , Walgreens and a lot of beauty stores like Ulta or Sephora. The price range is $2.00 (e.l.f you can find this brand at your local target) to $10.00 (Essie)! So they are not to bad in price and I'm sure they may get more expensive with top brands!

Dream Home and Pintrest ahhh the addiction

Am I the only one that would die if this house had a wrap around porch! It's kinda funny how southern girls are about houses. We pretty much dream about our house we will have from the age of 5 till we own it. Thinking every room how it will be decorated. Thanks to Pintrest  this is all much easier to visualize!  I don't know about you but I am completely addicted to Pintrest! I mean I basically have planned my wedding before I'm engaged, hey I'm saving time it wont take me as long to plan. I have planned what my house will look like from the outside to the inside, what my kids will wear I have my whole life planned out in front of me on Pintrest! What do you guys think about Pintrest love it ? hate it? Or are you like me and think it was one of the best ideas EVER!!!! Leave some comments!
